One of the most remarkable things about my trip to the Amazon was the reflections on the Black River, especially on the small tributaries. The vividness of the color reflecting off the water made it difficult at times to tell where the edge of the water was. I painted several different pictures of the various reflections. It was also a place where I reflected on my life at that point.
