"Birds on State Street"

This is the last Bird of Paradise painting I did before leaving Santa Barbara. They have these big clumps at various places along the street. This one is mid block between Carrillo and Figueroa Street with Russ' Camera in the background. Of all the Bird of Paradise paintings I've done, I think this is my favorite. I like the way these Birds take off in the lower right, then turn and soar to the sky as they move to the top, all against the Santa Barbara store fronts.
