"Ann's Christmas Cactus"

This Christmas Cactus was always one of Ann's favorites. She got it one year at the Braille Institute Christmas Boutique and it bloomed every year around Christmas. It came in this little cart which, I believe was a hand woven Chumash basket. Ann taught basket weaving at Braille Institute and won their Estrella d'oro Award as top volunteer one year and second another. I always liked the pods on this Christmas Cactus, they reminded me of little Pterodactyls, and I've always liked exotic birds. We always talked about sending this as a Christmas card, and did it one year. I also sent it after she passed one year.
