"Cymbidiums in a Chinese Vase"

Cymbidium Orchids were about the only flower that I could ever grow without killing them. This is one of my favorite bouquets in my Chinese Vase. I like the way the Orchids start at the bottom left of the vase and wind around to the top of the painting, where the orange and red things just nestle in between the orchids and the big orchid leaves. The red and yellow throats of the orchids guide the viewer around the bouquet, and the blue background and violet foreground pull everything together and help create motion with the big brush strokes.
