One of my favorite things about America is the natural beauty. I've traveled cross country several times, and the variation of the landscape is absolutely staggering. The Rocky Mountains and high desert of Wyoming are some of my favorite places. Ann and I go camping in the Pacific Northwest every summer, and I always bring my paint and canvas. Most of the pictures in this series were painted while on these outings, on location. We have experienced everything from rock slides while perched half way up Carbon Glacier, to coming face to face with a Roosevelt Elk. This is one of my favorite series.
