"Bouquet of Irises and Roses"

This is a bouquet of violet and yellow irises along with red roses from our garden on Figueroa Street. The garden was full of flowers, which is about the only time we picked them. I really like the white roses with red woven through them. The big wine red roses were grown on bushes that had been in the garden for over 50 years. I would put the flowers on various backgrounds to experiment with different effects. The red violet table pulls all this together for me. We got the Chinese Vase in San Francisco and was my favorite.
