Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Montecito is one of my favorite missions. I love the simplicity of line and the way the light hits the white stucco. The round wooden beams protruding through the walls embody the essence of the Mexican architectural style for me. The mountains in the background make this one of the Santa Barbara area's most picturesque spots.
