Paul Berenson

Many of these pictures date from the 1970's and early '80's. I loved the Rock & Roll bands of the late '60's, and was greatly influenced by them. I grew up on '50's rock 'n roll, and by the mid to late '60's the music had evolved into what I consider to be our century's equivalent to the classical music of the 18th and 19th centuries. The music of the Who, Jimi Hendrix, the Stones, etc. consisted on an orderly simplicity that was both raw and powerful. Rock & Roll spoke to, and defined, the baby boom generation.
