For a variety of reasons, I didnt get outdoors to paint very often in the mid-90s. In 1997 I returned to the plein air with a vengeance. This picture of Carols garden is the first of several from 97. The Rose Tree is actually a succulent that has been taken over by a climbing rose. Its also draped around the wrought iron railing on the porch. The picture features snap-dragons, roses, and delphiniums. |
