After learning to paint at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston I moved back to Santa Barbara where I REALLY learned to use the bright colors of the southern sun. I painted a lot of flower gardens, scenes of the city, oddly colored trees, and much more from nature. Santa Barbara is where I really became a master of color by applying the color theory I learned to the kaleidescope of colors presented by nature. These are only a few of the paintings and you should also check out my Flower Garden Gallery of brightly colored, mostly Santa Barbara Gardens. Vincent van Gogh said to "...study a single blade of grass", so I also painted a lot of single flowers in my Flower Gallery, along with unusual trees and more.
