The Amazon’s Rio Negro is the color of Coca Cola. It’s entirely organic because of the difference in water levels between winter and summer. As the water retreats it washes the silt into the river. It has plenty of creatures living in it, like Caymen and Piranhas, but no mosquitos live on the River. My three night cruise on Rio Negro was a highlight of my life so far.
